These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website and services of Botwell LLC (“Botwell,” “we,” “us”). By using our website or services, you agree to these Terms.
Our services
Botwell provides AI-powered business automation for small businesses, which may include missed-call text-back, an AI receptionist and website chat, online booking and calendar sync, appointment reminders, review requests, lead follow-up and a unified inbox. Features depend on your plan.
Free audit
The free audit is a no-cost consultation. Requesting one does not obligate you to buy anything.
Plans, billing and cancellation
- Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, at the prices shown when you sign up.
- Annual plans are billed once a year at a discount and run to the end of the year you paid for.
- Monthly plans can be canceled anytime. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Setup is included. Taxes may apply. We will give you notice before any price change takes effect.
- Online payments are processed securely by our payment processor, Stripe.
Support and custom automations
- Starter and Growth plans include support with replies within 2 business days.
- The Pro plan includes priority support with replies within 1 business day.
- Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
- The Pro plan includes up to 2 new custom automations built each month. Unused automations do not roll over to the next month.
- Small changes to automations we have already built do not count toward that limit. Larger projects, such as connecting outside software, are quoted separately.
Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate information and keep your account details secure.
- Use Botwell only for lawful purposes.
- Get any consent required to contact your own customers by phone, text or email, including under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and carrier rules, and make sure the messages sent for your business are accurate and lawful.
Text message program
If you opt in on our audit request form, Botwell LLC may text you about your audit request and account updates. If you separately opt in to marketing messages, we may also text you special offers and product updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
AI-generated responses
Botwell uses automation and AI to reply to your customers. Automated replies can occasionally be incomplete or inaccurate. You can review and adjust how Botwell responds, and conversations it can’t handle are handed off to you. You remain responsible for your business decisions and commitments.
Acceptable use
Do not use Botwell to send spam, to harass anyone, to break the law or to interfere with our systems. We may suspend service for misuse.
Intellectual property
Botwell owns its software, website and brand. You keep ownership of your business data and content, and you give us permission to use it only to provide the services.
No guarantee of results
We work hard to help you capture more leads, but we can’t guarantee specific results such as revenue or booking numbers. The services are provided “as is” to the extent the law allows.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Botwell is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
Changes and termination
We may update these Terms from time to time and will post the new version here. Either of us may end the service as described above. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of West Virginia, without regard to conflict of law rules.
